Christmas

Save Haven Rescue Inc received an urgent notification of a black morgan gelding who was left for shipment to slaughter. The individual who dumped him reported that he had been in a fire, thus all the scarring on his legs. After all this animal has endured, the thought of him going to a brutal, inhumane end was not going to happen. He is scared, scarred, and damaged, but his eyes pleaded for help.

Safe Haven Rescue Inc stepped up to help him. Given the new name of Christmas, he gained his "freedom ride". He was in quarantine until it was safe to bring him to Safe Haven Rescue Inc. He now knows he is safe and is able to begin the healing process. He is a kind, sweet boy who will be looking for his forever home.
