Every horse is unique and has different needs. Safe Haven Rescue Inc has a trainer on site, Cortney Scionti, who evaluates each sole to determine their individual needs. Starting with the very basics, she gives the horses love and kindness to build trust, and then builds on that.

She ensures they receive the daily care, nutrition, and time they need to heal. As they regain their health and well being  they  move on to training. When a horse is ready for its forever home, the horse will become available for adoption.
