Tetons Domino Heir
"Domino"
Domino in quarantine.
Domino, a registered Morgan gelding, was saved from slaughter at the age of 23. DNA confirmed his identity and in his younger years he was a breeding stallion at the Grunden Morgan Ranch. He was sold as a young stallion and the Grunden Ranch lost track of him. At some point he was gelded and landed in a pen awaiting shipment to Mexico for slaughter. When he arrived at Safe Haven Rescue, Inc. Domino was in a severe state of depression . Never had we witnessed such deep despair as we saw in Domino. He was completely withdrawn and disengaged from his surroundings. Love, patience and time have allowed him to once again regain his luster. Domino was rehomed in December 2020. His new owner, Maize, took him to his first show in 2021 where they won the blue ribbon. Never under estimate the power of love and kindness.
