Why donate? Every hoofbeat echoes a plea for help. Safe Haven Rescue Inc. stands as a lifeline for horses caught in the merciless grip of the slaughter pipeline. These magnificent souls faced an unimaginable, horrific fate, but with your help, WE can change that.

Our responsibility:

Rescue: We rescue equines from the brink of despair. Their eyes, filled with both

fear and pleas for salvation, tell stories of neglect and suffering.

Rehabilitation: Our dedicated team nurses these sentient beings back to health. We

mend broken bodies and shattered spirits one hay bale and soft caress at a time.

Rehome: Our goal is simple - to find loving forever homes for these magnificent

beings. We believe every horse deserves a second chance, a pasture to graze, and

companionship under the sun.

Horses require a great deal of daily care and resources. One hundred percent (100%) of your donation will help provide these necessities for their every day life. Feed, hay, bedding, veterinary care, daily supplements, medications, blankets, halters, farrier, and supplies are just some of the items needed that your donations will be used for.

supplies for the direct well-being of the horse. The love you send mends wounds both seen

and unseen.

Average costs to support our rescues include:

Feed - $25 - $60 per 50 lb. bag

Hay - $8 - $12 per bale

Shavings - $810 per month

Supplements - $55 - $75 per month (nutritional needs vary)

Annual Vaccinations -

Dental - $125 per horse per visit

Farrier - $70 (trim w/out shoes)

$225 - $250 for all four shoes

Blankets, halters, leadropes, fly spray, etc. - vary in cost
